Android-x86 is an unofficial initiative to make Android's mobile operating system works on computers with Intel processors and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)
The project started as a series of batches. It works on netbooksand ultra-mobile PCs
Especially the ASUS Eee PC
But now it can be used on most devices and can be used as a virtual machine via VBox
There are attempts to fetch the Android Runtime library necessary to run Android 5.0
